Materials
4 large clear glass jars
1 can of metallic silver mirror paint
Distilled white vinegar
Spray bottle
Paper towels or a clean cloth
Directions
Clean the glass jars thoroughly to remove any dust or labels.
Fill a spray bottle with equal parts distilled white vinegar and water.
Lightly spray the outside of each jar with the vinegar solution. The vinegar will create the mottled effect characteristic of mercury glass.
Immediately after spraying the vinegar solution, apply a light coat of metallic silver mirror paint over the vinegar.
While the paint is still wet, dab the surface gently with a paper towel or cloth to create texture and remove excess paint.
Repeat the spraying and dabbing process until you achieve the desired look.
Allow the jars to dry completely before handling or displaying them.

Variations & Tips
To customize this DIY, try using different sizes or shapes of glass jars for a more eclectic look. You can also experiment with different paint colors, such as gold or bronze, to match your existing decor.
